Privacy Policy

The Mayfair Cleaning Co. (“we”, “us”) is a residential and commercial cleaning service operating in London, United Kingdom. This policy applies to the website at themayfaircleaning.co.uk and to the booking process you go through on it.

When you fill in our booking form, we collect:

• Your full name, phone number and email address
• The address where the clean will take place
• The service, property size and any add-ons you choose
• Your preferred date and arrival window
• Any notes you add (e.g. key location, pets, allergies)
• The estimated price of your booking

We do not ask for or store any card details on our website — card payments are handled entirely by PayPal (see “Who we share it with” below).

If you choose to attach a photo when booking (e.g. of an especially dirty oven or a stained carpet), that photo is not uploaded to our website — our booking form only counts how many photos you've selected. Photos are sent by you directly inside WhatsApp, once you reach the confirmation step, and are handled the same as any other photo you send in a WhatsApp chat.

We use the information you give us only to:

• Prepare an accurate quote and confirm your booking
• Contact you about your appointment (arrival time, access, any changes)
• Send you your invoice and payment details
• Keep basic business records, as required by UK law

We never use your information for marketing without asking you first, and we never sell it.

Booking details you submit through our website are stored in a secure Cloudflare database, only accessible to The Mayfair Cleaning Co.

We keep the number of third parties involved to a minimum:

• WhatsApp (Meta): the last step of booking opens WhatsApp with your details pre-filled, for you to review and send to us. Once sent, that message is handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy, not ours.
• PayPal: if you pay a deposit, PayPal processes that payment. We only send PayPal the amount and a short description — never your name, phone or email as payment details. After a successful payment, PayPal redirects you back to our confirmation page, and your name and address may pass through that redirect link as part of the web address — PayPal does not use this as payment information.

We do not share your information with any advertiser, data broker, or analytics company.

Our website does not use cookies, and it does not run any analytics or advertising trackers (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, nothing similar). We don't track you across other websites.

We keep booking records for as long as reasonably necessary to deliver your clean, resolve any questions afterwards, and meet our own accounting and tax obligations under UK law. If you'd like us to delete your details sooner, just ask (see “Contact us” below).

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Ask what information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that's inaccurate
• Ask us to delete your information
• Object to how we're using your information

To exercise any of these, email us at the address below — we'll respond promptly.

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information you give us, including secure, access-controlled storage. No online system is 100% risk-free, but we don't collect more than we need, and we don't store any payment card data ourselves.

If we make meaningful changes to how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
